I've already initialized the Vulkan API, as mentioned in my previous post about my GameDev journey-building a pet 2D mini engine using Vulkan API and C#.

Today, I successfully completed the device creation step,
and it feels really great! 😊

Quick look at some of the capabilities exposed:

Added static enemies that exist in the world, plus the ones that spawn and attack your town.

The loop is tower defence > build a strong enough city > explore the world Diablo style > return with loot to upgrade towers.

Haven't touched my project for 2 weeks now, tho I'm still doing other gamedev related thingy helping a friend on the Vulkan project in C# 🤭 but I'm kitbashing some new ship for my RTS game in Godot.

Seems like it was just yesterday, a must play on Wii U, including TTP HD. I hope both will be released on Switch 2.

Yeah, bruh, most likely a driver problem.

I'm not pretty sure, but I think it's the fallback of rendering API. If Vulkan is not present, it will use DirectX for Windows and down to OpenGL ES 3 if everything fails.

It's not perfect, but I think Super Mario Bros. 🤠 it disrupted the gaming industries, even console crash in 1983 and, of course, populaziring the side scrolling platform game genre and establishing a successful franchise.
