Why are people saying for the Hazbin Hotel on broadway they signed NDAs? 3 people asked me if I was asked to sign 1. I was there and I wasn't asked to sign 1, some others are also saying they didn't sign anything. I'm completely lost. Am I missing something?

One thing a lot of people don’t understand about entertainment industry doesn’t matter what you do, theres a lot of uncertainty, and rejection. A company being interested is not always guaranteed. I faced a shit ton of that.

Fell down a crack ship rabbit hole of Bubble from TADC being shipped with The Dirty Bubble from SpongeBob and it’s been wholesome. People seem to call it dishsoap. Kinda digging it.

Honestly people who send others death threats, what are they doing with their lives? You’re not proving you’re better than others. It’s rather serious and nothing one says can justify it. Doesn’t matter what your ex status is, no one deserves it.

To my surprise, not only did I get a SHIT TON of votes many people DMed me for weeks now, all about Galactic Twist, them remembering it, reading the comics, someone even role played one of the characters. Sent fanart and cosplay even. I’m touched people remembered it. [6/?]

Years later my contract is up it’s not a thing. I was lied to. Luckily I got my rights back in what felt like a custody battle. But I decide to post about it again. Now. I think people forgot all about my show. For the fuck of it, I decide to do a tumblr poll see if anyone remembered it. [5/?]

Little did I know, contracts like this technically should not exist. Part of how strict it was, I was told if we were to put something into an episode, to private/remove it till it comes out. If I didn’t, the parent company would. I privated my whole blog and unlisted the videos. [4/?]

They gave me a contract. The contract wasn’t too weird, but one thing I thought it was a bit strange. They told me it was a holding contract. They told me it meant I would get picked up. I was new didn’t know any better but wanted my show out there, so I signed it. [3/?]

I never thought I’d be so touched and moved by something. Let me explain, this is going to be such a long thread. Oh boy. But I’m touched and inspired.

The show centers a family of four aliens who crash-land on Earth after their home planet was destroyed and the goofy sci-fi misadventures in suburbia often caused by their own naivety and ignorance to human customs. The aliens are evenly split on their opinions of living on Earth, along with varying degrees of loyalty to their overall mission -- raising the Pupa, a living supercomputer that will someday terraform and destroy the planet. In spite of being one of the platform's highest rated original shows, it was rather abruptly cancelled to the surprise of both fans and staff themselves. The sixth season, airing this fall, was not written with this in mind. Currently we are not aware of any specific reason or explanation as to why the show was cancelled at all.

The timing is especially frustrating when the show has established great strides, being one of the very few adult animated television shows with openly queer protagonists in a domestic setting; this cancellation comes one season after the two main characters get married. If there was a story worth being told for six seasons, then there's a story worth concluding. Honestly this does not surprise me. It’s sad + reminiscent of a time I worked for a company that expected animators and artists to do damage control for a show on our own social media accounts for an issue none of us were involved in mostly higher ups and one fan. So WB doing this isn’t surprising

I also want to be clear that these were decently rated ones. I’ve seen some poorly rated ones for less. Also it’s insane cause I know there’s no way my parents paid over $1,000 for me to go to pre-k. But, times changed clearly.

I don’t hate kids but, I don’t think I’ll have them anytime soon or ever… my friend told me pre-k costs like $1,100 a month per kid. I thought she was tripping, but I looked on average in my area. $700 was the cheapest. Fuck this is like college prices.
