Holland Street got a glow up this year, new sidewalks, street repaved, a raised intersection at Irving/Holland and new street paint, including a dedicated bike/bus lane. 🚌🚲🚗

October 2024 vs July 2025. We built a raised squared off intersection at Quincy/Summer/Prescott Street, created a new bioretention basin, and new small park area.

The @cityofsomerville.bsky.social's Spring Hill sewer replacement project provides a great example of how "green infrastructure" can improve safety *and* reduce water pollution *and* do it all while looking fabulous:

The green infrastructure is still in a warranty period with our contractor for a year, once that is up DPW will maintain them long term.

The flex posts are and will be replaced, we just had to paint the street first.
