What if your life IS a crime though, soldier boy?
25.05.2025 04:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0He died after a brief illness
28.04.2025 08:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ah god dammit. Joshua Clover wrote about both people and music as if he loved them so much he couldnโt bear it, & indeed he really did love them like this, to the joy of those he knew & shaped, & to the consternation of those who loved either less. What a loss. www.theparisreview.org/blog/2021/11...

16.03.2025 23:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Someone gave me a sign to carry at the protest, & as soon as I brought it home my cat claimed it
16.03.2025 16:33 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sorry I'm just in a really bad place right now (United States)
30.01.2025 14:48 โ ๐ 11390 ๐ 3285 ๐ฌ 50 ๐ 26hi everyone i need help finding all my beautiful friends from the transphobia app if you wouldnโt mind RTing. you might remember me from my gay and annoying tweets and nothing else. tysm! ๐ฉต
27.01.2025 18:54 โ ๐ 15 ๐ 8 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0the way that my cat confidently throws himself into the same screen door on a daily basis trying to catch unobtainable lizards gives me hope that i can also remain upbeat and mildly delusional about whatโs possible

09.12.2024 18:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs a patsy that wonโt pan out. Our hero wouldnโt bring a gun to lunch.
09.12.2024 17:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Because they were sent to unsafe schools to get brain damage โfor their โmental health.โ
08.12.2024 17:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0โฆwhat weโcollectively, as a generationโ did to them, collectively as a generation.
08.12.2024 17:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0โฆand that enabled a lot of rationalization about the safety of โopen the schools!โ I just wonder how much damage has to manifest to kids before parents demand change. I also predict generational agon worse than between millennials & boomers: those kids are going to HATE us when they realizeโฆ
08.12.2024 17:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0As far as ppl not caring about their own childrenโฆitโs pretty obvious that almost everyone had kids expecting them to be able to go to school/not expecting to care for them at home full-time & def not after age 5โฆ
08.12.2024 17:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0I feel completely confident in stating that the US does not care about children. The public policies of this country reflect outright malice towards them in fact. Kids are a โluxury good,โ and if one can pay for theirs thatโs ok, but Uncle Sam has clearly told the rest of them to go get fuc*ed.
08.12.2024 17:36 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0With cumulative risk and perpetual forced infection, every child/young adult will eventually have long covid. How severely? Will it resolve? Who knows. The symptoms most reported are fatigue and memory loss/brain fog: brain damage.
08.12.2024 17:33 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well, there are two separate issues: 1) caring about children as public policy 2) caring about oneโs own children. The risk of long covid not only increases w/ each infection, but is cumulative. (15% for first infection; 37% for third) www.unmc.edu/healthsecuri....
08.12.2024 17:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The โnothing bad is happening to me yet/right nowโ attitude towards viruses is incredible to me, esp where children are concerned. We know a virus causes MS, eg. And weโre exposing children to a virus multiple times a year, in perpetuity.
08.12.2024 16:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0FYI, I had a mild covid infection (just once, 2022, when everyone stopped maskingโthanks guys). I completely recovered, no long covid. I do everything possible to avoid reinfection. The risk of LC goes up with every infection. I donโt want an early stroke or cancer or dementiaโฆ
08.12.2024 16:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Now the consensus is โthey have to stay all-in on their denial, because they cannot admit they did this to children, including their own children, and face themselves.โ
08.12.2024 16:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0For a couple years, covid-cautious ppl thought โthey will see the error of pretending covid is over, after their loved one dies, they have a stroke at 35, their kid gets pediatric diabetesโ etc. instead we have watched in horror while that happens & yโall pretend itโs not related to covidโฆ
08.12.2024 16:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0Lies by the government & CDC (and the huge โback to normal!โ propaganda campaign) share blame. Those of us who were reading the studies coming out knew the gov was lyingโฆ
08.12.2024 16:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0What disabled ppl say is that the policy of forced mass infection means they are not only totally excluded from participation in ANYTHING, they canโt even safely get medical care
08.12.2024 16:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I care a lot about ppl who have to use hospitalsโmasking isnโt even requited in pediatric oncology wards. I care a lot about my daughterโs friends unmasked in school. I care a lot about my two friends with bad long covid. I care a lot about my brilliant friend with one lung..
08.12.2024 16:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes but that was still in the blue/red split era. After the vaccine, the blues went red. If a majority of Dems had said wait a minute, Iโm not going back to the office or sending my kids back to school without clean air, testing, adequate funding for 10 days quarantine etcโ
08.12.2024 16:26 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yes. But I feel like youโre still evading the point that we *had leverage* to get indoor air quality standards enacted. And the mass of liberals/Dems didnโt use that leverage.
08.12.2024 16:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I donโt care if other ppl gather in crowds, as long as I can avoid them. What I do care about is public places like schools and hospitalsโthat I canโt avoidโnot having reasonable covid prevention.
08.12.2024 16:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The leverage that was there was: liberals might not get the economy cranking again if covid safety measures werenโt taken. And they just flushed that leverage.
08.12.2024 16:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ableist; sorry for typo. But srsly, you want to live in a society with the ethic โwell I donโt think itโs going to affect me, so I donโt care about whom a forced infection forever policy will affect?โ Thatโs pretty bleak.
