I had a dream that everyone was eating potstickers with maple syrup, and now I’m really curious about how that would taste 😅

I wanted to design a new character since I haven’t had the chance to in a while. So I started thinking about what my perfect dragon would be if I could have one. And I made this fella!

He’s mischievous and a bit arrogant, but does have a kind heart. He’s also semi-aquatic and fire breathing 😆

NOAA is great for general information but it only has still images. I wanted to see the live radar of the storm.

This is the first I’ve heard of this hurricane. And I just spent 10 min trying to find any live radar of it, but apparently it doesn’t exist on most of our major weather websites radars, including the NWS.

I’m infuriated and terrified that we can’t even get clear info about a massive Cat 5. 😣😭😣

Thanks Rob! I feel like I’ve leveled up as an adult by giving my first corporate presentation to all the big wigs in our company! 💪😆

I had to give my first corporate presentation yesterday. And I’m not sure what the opposite of stage fright is, but I’m pretty sure I have it.

I was so excited to speak that I had to calm myself down and try not to excitedly ramble thru my presentation 😆😆😆

So jealous of everyone going to Lightbox.

I am begging artists in the professional field, no matter whether they’re an art director or illustrator, please please PLEASE study form and perspective. Those basics are so important!

The amount of art I see daily that doesn’t use either of those foundational skills is so exhausting. 😩

I also grew up in an extremely conservative household, so I was always told that Halloween was evil and I wasn’t ever allowed to participate in any Halloween stuff.

The first time I went trick or treating, I was 25 and we only went to one house because my roommate was too embarrassed 😆

My favorite thing about Halloween is that it gives people an excuse to be creative!

Driving around town and seeing all the uniquely decorated houses is the best!

And seeing folks make their own amazing costumes and props!

I wish we could celebrate creativity like this everyday 🎃

Flowers made from pipe cleaners

Recently I was thinking about how much I miss doing crafts just for fun. Like when we were kids.

So I bought myself some pipe cleaners and ended up making these little flowers! 😊💕✨

It was a great stress reliever and a wonderful excuse to get away from the computer too! 🙌

I forgot to mention that every person in this store was a POC except me and this woman.

That’s why I knew I had to stand up to her. I was the only one who could. 😤

when it was my turn to be helped, the tech guy, who was this sweet Latino guy, was very appreciative that I’d spoken up to the woman.

Probably the first time I’ve ever yelled at a person in my life, but I’ve had enough of selfish idiots 😆

Moral of the story: speak up for those who can’t 💪😤

I put on my old theme-park-crowd-control voice and yelled “MA’AM. HE WAS HERE BEFORE I WAS.” because I knew she saw me sitting there.

The entire store looked at me in shock because lil old me in my mask just nearly deafened the room. And that woman sure as heck didn’t say another word. 💪😆

sales lady kind of looked around the store, confused and trying to figure out what was going on. She looked to her coworkers for confirmation.

They tried to explain the situation but the lady was still yelling about how “this isn’t right”.

So I decided I was gonna do something about it. vvv

angered the older woman.

A sales lady comes out of the back and goes around the store making sure everyone’s been helped.

When she got to the woman, the woman shouts out “I should’ve been helped before that man. I was here before him!!” angrily pointing at the poor older Asian man.

Was waiting my turn at the cell store today and this older white woman walks in. There’s 2 people being helped, and me and an older Asian gentleman who are waiting to be helped

When the tech person finished with one customer, he called over the older gentleman to help him next, which apparently vvv

For real. I’m gonna unplug this weekend and just laze around 😅🙌

Im so exhausted. The world’s a mess. The country is a mess. My family is a mess. My job is a mess

And Im expected to be strong, silent, and kind to everyone despite my own daily fears, struggles, and depression that I continue to fight thru entirely on my own

Im just so tired. Yet I cant sleep.

I’m not saying you have to interview the entire crew in one meeting. 😆

I’m saying at least have some of the creatives on the press tour. The art directors or department leads would be a good start lol
