Baltimore friends. I am working on a new poetical project about the 80s music scene (and class, of course, this is me) in Baltimore. To that end I am looking for photos of people in places like Gerards, Marble Bar, Hammerjacks, Steeltown, Club Charles, Seagull Inn. Some of these would hopefully be used, with credit and permission, in the final project. Would you be willing to share? Please feel free to share this post with friends.

April was truly the cruelest shittiest month, and most of it didn’t even involve me practicing law.

It is all so much worse than Lee Greenwood is probably going to get a Kennedy Center honor now, and yet the idea of Lee Greenwood being honored at the Kennedy Center sums up so well just how awful it all is.

I take back every time I’ve ever called a dystopian novel unrealistic because I thought there was no way the world could ever actually get THAT bad.
