I used a lot of the advice/techniques from Kano Ghost on YouTube who did a video on Yuto Sano’s art style.

I talked a bit about this more on my instagram, but basically I’m gonna be doing a lot more art studies this year, so my style will be even more inconsistent than it already is. 😅

Also forgot how much I like drawing mouths, especially teeth.

2/2. Dodie, the robot dog, will protect and go out to scavenge for supplies, one of them being this tattered shirt as a change of clothes so Micah can breathe more easily.

1/2 Context: They’re in an apocalyptic scenario hence the environment. I like to think they found an abandoned warehouse safe from any infected, just a place for Micah to recover.

Since I’m sick thought I’d draw my characters based on my pets who typically keep me and my family company while we’re recovering from flu/colds. (Check the next posts for story context.)

2/3. The two boys accidentally stumble upon a whole different world where killing feeds your hunger and quenches your thirst, almost treated like it’s a game. Luckily, a boy with a cone for a head appears to be waiting for them and is ready to help get them back home.

implied feelings

After my dad died I’d skip class, grades dropped, detentions stacked, etc. I still drew but I didn’t care about anything. The principal called me into her office one day, figured I messed up again, but she just handed me a box of colored pencils and said “happy birthday”. NEVER forgot that.

Been dealing with burnout with not just art, but with life in general for a while, so why not draw these two as a serotonin boost.

Ignore the inconsistencies. 🫡

Sorry for being inactive on random periods of time, just going through a lot mentally and it’s becoming harder to engage with my own interests in general. I’m still working on artworks and hopefully will post later today (since it’s currently 12:15 in the morning).
