Went to see the epic Biffy Clyro, and got a bonus ice hockey game thrown in for good measure! Awesome child free night all round.
I'm going to be so gutted when it's Christmas eve and my Bonne Maman advent calendar is finished. We are loving the excitement of a different jam/preserve every morning.
I'll still get to do two drop offs and three pickups, her dad will do the other half, but it won't be the same. She's doing amazingly at school too, learning to read and count. I'm dead proud.
Mental. Thankfully I still have two months off left to go, but she starts nursery mid Jan so there's plenty of settling in time. I'm going to miss her so much. So so so much. I'm also going to miss taking big h to school every day π
IKR. This time last year I was getting ready for my last week at work.
Honestly LH, hated her pregnancy, hated the first 8 weeks, absolutely adore her now. She's the cheekiest little thing.
I love squishing her. Best thing ever is hearing her giggle.
This tiny human is one in under a month. Wtf. Doesn't yet weigh 8kg, is dinky, but absolutely fearless, and a complete chaos monster. Love her.
The school uniform is washed and ironed, the hairbands have been chosen, the shoes are ready.
I am not ready for tomorrow. Little h is not so little anymore.
Watching The Proms purely to hear the songs from the Sleepytime episode of Bluey.
I love duvet.
FML kid, you're only 7 months old.
Made a very middle aged purchase of a Miele vacuum cleaner earlier. Here's to hoping it makes my house magically tidier π
Actual LOL
Absolutely not. That's one of my worst nightmares.
Heh, I wasn't overly social about it. Pregnancy was really tough and she was due literally at Christmas and I had such mixed emotions about the timing and everything. Very grateful for her though, she's a little ray of sunshine now at 6 months old. Little h adores being a big sister too π₯°π₯°
I'm okay thank you. Still on maternity leave so I'm enjoying the slow pace of life until little h starts school in September and I go back to work in January. It's going too fast though. My friends dad passed away a few months ago & she said the palliative team were brilliant. xxx
I'm sorry that I've only just seen this. Sorry for your loss, but I hope you feel comfort from how it went β€οΈ
Those and digestives are my favourite dunking biscuits.
Have some relaxing beach from our holiday.
It really does. Trying to soak up every minute of both of them before I blink and they're grown ups.
On Friday my tiniest baby is six months old. Six months ago I was exceedingly round and couldn't eat all my Christmas lunch. WTF.
There's a radio in little h's bedroom on holiday. She's chosen to go to sleep listening to Heart with Emma Bunton. There's some absolute bangers being played, I'm loving bedtime!
Go ask them to check your bloods! Hopefully your hba1c will have dropped π€π»
Haha, does look that way! She's got lovely chubby little legs now with no tattoos! She likes using her sisters leg to rest hers on, just to be annoying π
My babies at the beach β€οΈ
Waitrose do seem to have this which is new. Is it the same thing but just rebranded? π€
They stopped the sensitive washing powder I used for nappies. Very disappointed.
Tonight's viewing pleasure has been High School Musical (again). Catchy but diabolical. Exactly what I needed.
Downside...it smells like the inside of a garden waste bin lorry π
Pretty sure I've hit my peak in life. Took the sleeping baby to the local waste station where I collected two bags of free soil improver for the garden. I will be returning for lots more. Gardening and free stuff, what's not to love.
