Never say never. Politics is like a pendulum. One thing is certain is that it always swings in one direction or the other. A red state handed Biden a victory only to swing back red after 4 years of successes. We are a nation with short memories and a lot of digital distractions.

Countries. Wake up!! This is his latest tactic to remain relevant after his term expires and to transfer wealth to his family. There will be no long-term governance.

Don't call them 'witch hunts.' Most Americans say investigations into Trump are fair The latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll shows that a majority of Americans do not want former President Donald Trump to hold that office again, as his campaign for 2024 is in full swing.

This was an NPR post from 2023: β€œβ€¦most Americans don't agree with him. By a 56%-to-41% margin…”. He still won. The bottom line is that poll’s & opinions don’t matter. What matters is whether the opposing candidate has a comprehensive message that resonates with voters.

14.02.2026 14:42 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

If the message was clear, coherent and comprehensive, you’d think that the choice would be clear and voters wouldn’t have to swing. These candidates have become so hyper focused on single issue messaging that they miss the mark on communicating to the issues of their constituents. Just a thought.

In America, 64%+ of missing, exploited/trafficked women cases are Black, Hispanic or Indigenous. Wish there would be more reporting on this topic.

He did this deliberately because that’s what his base wants to hear. The Reagan doctrine β€œDon’t admonish a fellow republican” makes 47 a pimp and the entire party the W word for doing his very bidding for money.

We knew this all along. The problem is that he spoke about before he was elected for his 1st term. Luckily, covid prevented him then. Now, everyone wants to talk about it and no one took him to task on it waaay back then. I believe that if it was a talking point, he wouldn’t have been re-elected.

Every Republican since Eisenhower has increased the deficit.

Every Democrat since Carter has decreased the deficit.

Strange, considering that staffing firms have said that the wide use of AI for job search in this new economy is forcing them to rely more on personal referrals than posted resumes. Don’t pay. Network.

America’s national debt borrowing binge means interest payments will rocket to $2 trillion a year by 2036, CBO says | Fortune Annual interest payments will double to $2.14 trillion by 2036, nearly double the yearly budget for spending on defense.

At some point, we’re going to have to come to the realization that president Palpatine effectively uses the dark side of the force over his weak-minded base. He can make them believe anything.

It’s about time. For over a decade, the rating system had proved to be biased, unreliable and an inaccurate indicator of true performance. Gallup began to realize that social media analytics was gaining traction as a better metric and they just couldn’t keep up.

How can lawmakers now show concern when they sat on their hands and watched this man create a whole new agency without their approval? An agency, mind you, that led to one of the biggest breaches of government data in this country’s history.

What’s one more? They already:
1. purge voter rolls,
2. close precincts in Democratic districts,
3. reduce early voting days & the number of voting machines,
5. gerrymander districts,
6. discount mail in ballot
7. pay people to vote for their party and still
8. cry foul when they don’t win
