That and I have my wife to share my excitement with because they like certain cards/Pokemon in general too!!! So it also counts as a bonding time activity :D

I think the excitement is knowing that this may very much take me years to complete which gives me something to look forward to?

I'm super aware of the Pokemon TCG scene right now and how insane things are. But, it's still fueling a inner childhood happiness in me 💜

After clocking in a couple hours of work yesterday I literally spent 3 hours just organizing my new binder
I cut out lil pieces of paper and wrote numbers and the names on them

The only thing I'm "struggling" to organize now is the types
Idk how I wanna move them around :/

In this, I am also working on getting 49 Black and Brown Trainer cards
12(?) Tsareena cards
At least ONE IR or SIR Eevee and Eeveelutions
All Eevee and Eeveelutions V and VMAX cards

I've got quite the journey ahead of me, but I'm very excited!

Finally starting my journey to collect ONE card for all 151 og Pokemon

The only thing I haven't fully decided yet is if I want to pull them all organically or if I'll buy singles (which is arguably the cheapest way, but the thrill of the pulls...)

I personally feel like the world, in general, has a patience problem

I know time is precious/limited and it's not something that you can get back. Spend your time wisely, investing it in things you care about. If art is one of them, just know it takes time that's well spent

Don't forget that you can't be anti-AI "art" without also having the patience for artists to actually create the real art you say you support

I understand it for folks who maybe don't get a whole ton of the nutrients they need maybe because they don't eat as many meals or maybe someone wants to hit a certain health goal!
