On a more helpful note, I've found googling the ISBN or the title of the book with `filetype:pdf` (or epub) to work in some rare cases that Google indexes it. There should be alternative Annas Archive URLs though, no? Or are you asking in the event that none work

Bibliotik is a private tracker (think What.CD / Redacted / PassThePopcorn) that utilizes an invite only system for registering users. Unfortunately, there was a recent scare that caused them to disable many accounts.

when i swapped back to the original isp provided router everything just worked but then i lose all my dns tom foolwery and ports and upnp and everything else that made networking fun

i dont have any theories and despite having a textual representation of my configuration chatgpt/gemini/opus4.5 are unable to pinpoint what the issues might be. logs say nothing (and there isnt any physical disconnects)

topology was ont 2.5gbe rj45 -> crs310 -> ccr2116 -> crs310

why did i have a 310 before the router? because that has 2.5gbe ethernet ports and the s+rj10 was flapping (???)

in any case im going to try again from a clean slate at 5am so @1999.nyc can stop yelling at me

wasted an entire day debugging my home network setup because I'd get perfect internet spruced with intermitten timeouts (no latency buildup) that made using the internet unusable

i just had some quick artifacting
- this time around it was black bars that scanned quickly down the screen, too quick to draw detail from
- the other artifacts would be somewhat reproducible given where in a web page I was scrolling. this time around, I was scrolling, but I cannot repro this one

the manual says the `guix` channel is special

01.02.2026 04:30 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I have yet to reboot so I'm unsure if it kicked in or not

on another note: I needed a newer version of rust. I added the guix repo w a different branch and a pull seemed to work. what happens if I have multiple guix channels? which one produces the guix binary? or is the binary just configured?

\ ci.guix.moe is a small build farm I run that builds packages and serves substitutes for the Guix community. It’s the primary service under β€œGuix Moe” and provides infrastructure for other services.\nM...

task two: setup guix moe substitution

task number one: disable psr for amd driver because i get weird gray band artifacting on the fw13

(kernel-arguments
(append '("amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10") ; Disable PSR to avoid gray band flickering
%default-kernel-arguments))

im new to scheme but not new to lisp (tons of infra in cl) but im wondering how people manage imports. I know I want `firefox`, do I use `specifications->packages`? do I use the import? will my home.scm file have 20 lines of imports? whats the best practices for these things? ive yet to rtfm tho
