Cooped up tenants Noise polluting and Registering our disinterest in one another when collecting post We receive endless documentation that will gladly inform us of our debts Illustrated floor plans concealing space in numbers less than what we know we need Secrets will not be knowingly shared yet so close you might as well press our heads together Swear I’m verbalising their thoughts Our arguments are their light entertainment And vice versa

Sacred scenes deplored across cctv Redundant footage, publicised could destroy My carefully curated character I’ve taken years to employ We’re only aching for privacy The kind of hiding you can do in deep seas Skiving chats about my day it’s mundanity I love my neighbours when I can’t find my key
