18.07.2025 04:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Pediatricians do not profit off vaccines. In fact, most pediatricians either break even or even lose money when they offer vaccines. Misleading parents about doctors' motivations puts children's health at risk and sows distrust in lifesaving vaccinations.

This is monstrous.
13.07.2025 14:19 β π 1510 π 574 π¬ 59 π 18It's obscene.
04.07.2025 20:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0πΊπΈ This Independence Day, letβs remind ourselves:
The roots of modern American civilization began with the seeds of protests & speaking out against a tyrannical regime.
The Boston Tea Party? a protest. The Declaration of Independence? A list of grievances.

A video about the Declaration of Independence. I'm proud of this one.

Take time to acknowledge your grief, clear your head, charge your spirt.. .and then we come together and work for a better tomorrow.

Nebraska's members of Congress are voting to gut Mesicaid funding which will impact everyone's access to healthcare when our community's clinics, hospitals, & nursing homes close.. .not to mention the impact to local medical professionals' employment. Have you called, yet? #neleg
03.07.2025 17:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0It is mechanically not possible to bankrupt Medicaid.
Unlike Medicare & Social Security, thereβs no pot of money for the program where spending stops if it runs out. Cutting ppl off Medicaid doesnβt leave more for others.
Republicans are cutting Medicaid because they want it to cover fewer people.
I continue to be struck by this language of βin accordance with the presidentβs priorities,β which treats the executive branch as an extension of the person of the president, and not a mechanism for instituting the will of Congress
02.07.2025 00:58 β π 6062 π 1569 π¬ 147 π 98Instead, I hope you awake today with renewed dedication to your oath of office and that you vote for the promise of all our country's people.
Signed, a Nebraska mom

Will you abandon your good conscience for donors' tax breaks? Everyday Americans for fear of the President's ire? Struggling families for pure partisanship?
/8
I remembered that you previously served in the military to protect our country and that you will have a chance to protect your state and country from this dangerous, monstrous choice.
/7
I remembered an article about your retirement where you discussed running for President or other office and that you will have a chance to lead your colleagues to do the right thing.
/6
I also remembered the House will vote again on the reconciliation bill and that you will have the chance to correct your first vote.
/5
Then reality dawned on me like the sunrise and I remembered.. .
/4
I forgot the demonization and deportations of our immigrant neighbors. I forgot the political violence against public servants, and the rejection of science and reason.
/3
I forgot that you (and my other members of Congress) have voted to devastate our economy, food security, healthcare access, and the stateβs budget. I forgot the crippling debt our country's children will be saddled with.
/2
Dear Representative Bacon, I woke up to a beautiful sunrise this morning and, for a moment, I forgot my dread and fear for our country.
/1
The Senate voted to advance the budget reconciliation bill today, which is likely to cut health insurance coverage for more than 150,000 Nebraskans, close at least 6 rural hospitals, and increase healthcare costs and premiums for all of us. 1/2
