Single-hump camel standing beside a pile of hay and looking at me/the camera. Camel much closer now! She's fully facing the camera as she is approaching. The background is less visible here. In this picture, you can see the left side of the camel's face, except for her mouth and nose, with her big expressive brown eye looking directly into the camera. Her curved neck leads into the graceful arch of her shoulders, followed by her hump. She is so close to me/the camera that you can just barely see some trees and sky in the distance.

Stopped to see the #camels yesterday. They always look extra beautiful against the backdrop of #fallfoliage. This gorgeous lady decided to steal the show.

All good. HUD funding will run out in mid-November if the shutdown continues. At that point, it will be up to the local housing authorities to use reserve funding to cover the lapse. As far as I understand, people on Section 8 can't be evicted during a shutdown as long as they pay their portion.

Bunny mask made from a cat mask base, cardboard, yarn, and paint. The bunny is white with pink inside its ears. There is a black and orange outline around the mask and a purple skull in the middle of its forehead. In front of the mask is a white bunny tail made of yarn.

My wonderful 12 year old made this awesome bunny mask from a cat mask base. She made the tail out of yarn, made the ears, and painted the thing.
