A thought, much like this one, has been visiting me too the last couple of days.
Also, dogs are the greatest.

A black and white photo of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He is a white male in his late 30s. The picture is from the shoulders up. Bonhoffer has thinning blond hair and wears wireless round glasses. He is wearing a white collared shirt that has the top button undone. He appears to be outside as there is a wire fence and a tree in the background.
Sunday Bonhoeffer:
"Only time decides them.
When the unfathomable thrill
of sudden event
turns to tiresome, tortous duration,
when the day's endlessly dragging hour...

Spent the morning at the Project Bonhoeffer UK seminar and now spending the afternoon winterizing the gardens and house. (Snow predicted for Sunday.. small amount) I think the boss wants me back at work! Living that polyphonic life!

02.11.2025 23:39 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A black and white picture of children, a mix of boys and girls, playing in a back garden. Most of the girls have white dresses on with white bonnets and bows. The girls are sitting, while the boys, dressed in lederhosen and white shirts, are standing behind them. Centre of the photo is one child with his back to the camera wearing a black gown, and he is standing in front of a table mimicing a pastor in front of his flock. The caption from the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Society German Section website states that these are "children playing baptism." Some of the Bonhoeffer children are mixed in with what look like friends or relatives. I don't know if the 'pastor' was Dietrich or not.
Sunday Bonhoeffer:
"He who offers a cup of cold water to the weakest and poorest who bears no honorable name has ministered to Christ himself, and Jesus Christ will be his reward."
