Interactive quizes/questions; demonstrates/assesses engagement through the seminar and, if you are able to, can make it a little more fun as well.

Depending on what the seminar is on, you can include art? I used to get students to do a comic strip/cartoon of AMR mechanisms which worked well

I spent a brilliant 12 months with them about 10 years and it really set me up with the skills and ideas to get to the level I am now!

What a wonderful paper this, really enjoyable read and fanastic to see how fusion/hybridisation of MGEs in vivo are happening. Now we need to work out which reps, ISs and environments facilitate this and we *might* be able to predict future events!

Myself and a colleague put in for the internal triage at UoN for the BBSRC Pioneer to experimentally look at the "rules" around hybridisation/fusion in G-ves, but just missed out...
