— I’ve liked the Sentai I’ve watched before this, I’ve had so much fun with Gavan, and I have indeed… watched Kamen Rider! But this show got me invested in a specific way l I’ve not really been grabbed since Ultraman Geed, my favorite Ultra show. I’m so happy I’ve gotten to experience Go-Busters.

42-50: How far this show has come. It’s genuinely amazing to me how much it’s evolved to get here. Some of my favorite moments of any show I’ve watched since this time last year, characters who I was initially mixed on became my favorites. Plot I initially was underwhelmed by brought me to tears. —

33-Gokaiger: Back on track with Go-Busters, this was a very strong block of episodes. It’s the most I’ve been into the main plot of the show so far and has me excited for the final stretch. The Gokaiger crossover was also excellent, especially loved the tease of Kyoryuger.

Please we got, I think, at least 1 days reprieve from the landlord but we still desperately need $630 more for rent after my mother gambled away her part of the rent. Please if you can help or signal boost

31–Gavan: Minor break from the show to watch Gavan The Movie. And it was fun! Great production value, fun action, solid cast. Genuinely great experience. The two Go-Busters crossovers before it felt like straight modernizations of the Gavan show. All around, fun detour after the big events of ep30.

—learn more about Escape and Enter, that was appreciated. And I had fun clicking the hints together as the episodes went on. But in general I felt like this stretch of episodes unfortunately didn’t connect with me as well as the first twenty or so. But, with that said… It’s time we enter Gavan.

—for the entirety of the three episodes leading into Messiah’s defeat was a nice change, it added a stronger sense of weight. And Hiromu’s struggle and resilience were well handled. I just wish Messiah himself left more of an impact. His suit is great but otherwise he really didn’t do much. We did—

—subject of the big fight, it was much less of one than I expected. They spend so much time building up Messiah for ultimately him to not really leave much of an impact as a villain or a battle. The real stuggle came from the revelations about Jin and their families. Jin himself being dead serious—

20–30: WE’VE PASSED THE MID POINT! This stretch of episodes I found generally solid but not the most engaging out there. There was some fun stuff but it didn’t have as much an impact on me. Great Go-Buster was a necessary setup for the big battle but I find didn’t entirely do much. But on the—

11–Movie 1: After a strong start I feel like the show’s just kept climbing. From the introduction of the new rangers to some of the most fun focus episodes up to this point. I feel like I’m really falling in love with it. The movie also brought an excellent surprise… Frog Buster Oh. Beautiful.

1–10: These first ten episodes were a great first impression. I love the characters, the lore, the action. Everyone is fairly well rounded already and I like how these ten episodes were paced. And episode 10 had a wholesome close to a struggle introduced in the first. Ryuji is my favorite Go-Buster.

—Appearance in Go-Busters gave me an excuse to finally get around to it. Before this I have seen a few seasons of Sentai, one season of Metal Hero, half of OG Kamen Rider, and a few seasons of Ultraman. So I’m not unfamiliar with the genre. With that being said, I’ll update every 10 episodes. Enjoy!
