Our final outdoor challenge of the week related to our new story - The Snail and the Whale. We discovered that whales can be up to 30 metres long! After comparing pupil heights in the class against a metre stick, we realised that we could create a 'pupil whale' of the same length!🐌🌊🐋

Indoor PE with Mrs Morrison was all about making sure we were looking, checking and finding an appropriate space for ourselves during game play. Lots of fun during tunnel tig and the planets game!🪐

Outdoor PE = relay races! In our teams we took part in hopping, jumping, skipping and star jump challenges. You can read all about it in our snapshot jotters!🏃‍♀️🤩🏃‍♂️

During snapshot week we have been exploring teen numbers. Our first job was to create link cards for our classroom wall display. We had to work as a team to make sure our cards were accurate and informative.🙌🤩

Well done to W for achieving 98% on her recent dance exams! We are so proud of you!🌟💃👏

UNIFORM RECYCLING

We couldn’t believe how much litter we collected during our litter pick

Lots of fun during our experiment today. We estimated and tested different materials to see if they dissolved in water 💧

After our great sporting achievements we carried on being good sports in the class, playing by the rules, taking turns, helping each other and winning or losing with grace.

What fun we had at sports day, we didn't let the rain dampen our spirits. Thanks to Mrs Stevenson and all our helpers and supporters.

Remember it’s Sports Day tomorrow! Spectators encouraged to join us in the ‘big playground’ from 10.30am.

We had a fantastic trip to Five Sisters Zoo yesterday, we got to see so many animals 😁🐵🐻
