A digital painting. A brightly lit scene in an industrial environment with jungle like vegetation taking over the area. A slugcat called the Saint, from the video game Rain World, is shooting a rifle towards something outside the edge of the painting. The rifle is a joke item that doesn't ordinarily appear in the game, and the Saint is usually an overly peaceful creature who is unable to kill other creatures. It has an extremely long tongue, which it has wrapped around it's head as a reference to Rambo's bandana. Behind the slugcat, two yellow lizard creatures stalk the slugcat but have a worried or uncertain expression on their faces in reaction to the unusually display of violence from the peaceful slugcat.

#RWArtMonth 2025 Day 7: Expedition - I've not played the Expedition mode in Rain World, but I recently learned about a mission in that mode called "Change of Heart" and the idea for this artwork instantly popped into my head. I couldn't resist painting it!

A digital painting, depicting a slugcat form the game Rain World looking up at a massive dark wall of complex machinery. The wall is illuminated by numerous projected vertical and horizontal bars of light and lots of strange symbols. A long red noodle creature with many thin tendrils is floating in front of the wall and seems to be tending to the machinery, with two circles being projected onto the wall around either end of it. Small tadpole like creatures with two tails, lit up a deep blue colour, fly around the scene freely. The vibes of the scene are quite overwhelming and technologically advanced.

#RWArtMonth 2025 Day 13: General Systems Bus - Stumbling upon this area for the first time left me in awe. The complex buzzing atmosphere made me realise how small I was as the player in the vast world of Rain World.
