I don't remember that either. I wonder if they have slithery snake-like sounds and doing animalistic sounds was the extent of the voice acting? Since sometimes people do voice act animal sounds instead of just using SFX/ samples for that...

I think they might be a lot more common with Augur/ Maris as the final boss. Maybe more common in solo runs too? Not sure how that all shakes out but that's where I've encountered it a few times.

By the way if you stand still for 5 minutes you get kicked out off the game, even in offline solo runs.

I was ~35 seconds away from that happening but then the locusts showed up.

My first ever solo win against a Nightlord was in a run where I abandoned the game for almost 5 minutes on day 1 and wasn't trying to even play the game normally.

Then I wound up being level 14 at the *start* of day 2. 💀

Documentation of doing fuck all on day 1, lmao.

Bearing in mind I spent nearly 5 minutes listening to a podcast and standing still.

That is probably NOT how you should start a solo run and expect to win, which is pretty great.
