I think about this poem a lot at the minute
Hello π

Thank you π
π What an opening!

Madwoman in the Attic was one of those texts that completely changed my understanding of literature. RIP Gilbert of Gilbert and Gubar. www.theguardian.com/books/2024/n...
My first (97/98?) was bought in Woolworths and had a very flimsy antenna that I had to carefully pull up to make a call.
This unlocked a memory! We all had the Barclays phone.

Your comment helped me find bsky.app/profile/did:... and solved my problem. Thanks so much
Yeah, I keep emailing myself - but a one page document is a better idea. Thanks
Ah I need to figure this out. Thanks
Meanwhile, this is likely the most useful thing I collated and pulled together. It was entirely the result of the collaboration of teachers and I reckon would still be very helpful for English teachers.

I'm new to #edusky and missing the bookmark function from 'the other platform'. I'm leaving a pin, or re-posting. Any other ideas? Thanks
This is SO useful! Thanks for putting this together π
I really like this idea from @MrRobHistory on Twitter. Iβm going to try it with some of my students in English for the literature texts. Great to see how one idea can be utilised across different subjects. Thanks, Derrick! @teamenglish1.bsky.social

Hello edu-Bluesky! π
For those of you thinking about whatβs coming up this week, hereβs a thread I wrote last year about GCSE results dataβ¦
This is an overview of what I do when I get my data inβ¦ π
Teach the poetry (I always favoured Rossetti) at the same time. Don't be afraid to let lessons unravel into brilliant discussions. Make sure the students are really certain of the AOs needed for each exam component. Honestly, it's the best part of the job - enjoy it!
Thanks!
