28.08.2024 11:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Meanwhile, this is likely the most useful thing I collated and pulled together. It was entirely the result of the collaboration of teachers and I reckon would still be very helpful for English teachers.

I'm new to #edusky and missing the bookmark function from 'the other platform'. I'm leaving a pin, or re-posting. Any other ideas? Thanks

28.08.2024 06:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I really like this idea from @MrRobHistory on Twitter. Iβm going to try it with some of my students in English for the literature texts. Great to see how one idea can be utilised across different subjects. Thanks, Derrick! @teamenglish1.bsky.social

Edexcel 2.0 combines language AND structure in the question and I think this is a much more sensible approach.

20.08.2024 17:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hello edu-Bluesky! π
For those of you thinking about whatβs coming up this week, hereβs a thread I wrote last year about GCSE results dataβ¦
This is an overview of what I do when I get my data inβ¦ π
Teach the poetry (I always favoured Rossetti) at the same time. Don't be afraid to let lessons unravel into brilliant discussions. Make sure the students are really certain of the AOs needed for each exam component. Honestly, it's the best part of the job - enjoy it!
