After years teaching at 2 local universities, I became enraptured by the chaos of Valpo and founded an NGO that helped spearhead the UNESCO world heritage process. I also traveled around the world promoting the city and served as Sunday columnist for the local newspaper. Amongst many other things😊

My son, Nico, at Mirador Pozòn de los Reyes high above Chile’s mighty Futaleufú. He will turn 24 next week and is scheduled to defend his thesis on his birthday. Assuming that goes well, he will be a Civil Industrial Engineer.

Then I arrived in Chile and discovered they were still huge stars here.
When I moved to Chile in 1993 I was surprised to discover this band is wildly popular here. They still are.
