I will be glad of a day off walking when September is completed but i'm glad i've done this challenge. It's for a great cause and if you can help i'd love to hit the £200 target i set back in June. step.diabetes.org.uk...

I've been getting up early driving to work & walking around #Sheffield centre to get a good start on the day, #walking on my Lunch and then walking when i get home. My Daughter and #Cat must be fed up of the sight of me walking up and down in the house.step.diabetes.org.uk...

I've balanced this along side working full time in an office job which requires a lot of the day sitting at a adesk. I've also started driving which means not using public transport so not getting steps while commuting.step.diabetes.org.uk...

Just under 11k steps a day might sound easy but it's every day for 3 months straight. Every day off or day under target extends the steps needed per day. I'm lucky i've managed to get myself ahead of the run rate but it's been harder to keep going than i thought it would be

I'm not 2 thirds of the way into my one million steps challenge for @diabetesuk.bsky.social Yesterday i went though 666,666 steps with just over a month to go so slightly ahead of the rate needed.

I'll be glad when the target it his and able to just have a lazy day off.

Over half way on the step count now. passed 500,000 steps this morning. About 5 days ahead of the run rate thanks largely to 2 high step count days this weekend. step.diabetes.org.uk/fundraising/...

I'm a bit ahead of where i needed to be by this point but there's no plans to let up. Lets see how many i can get in the full 3 months. I'd like to get 500 miles which would mean an extra 29 miles on top of keeping up this average every day. Let's see

One month completed of the Diabetes UK Million Step Challenge. After the first month, 31 days i've walked a total of 371,474 steps which Fitbit tells me is 158.91 miles. or 5.13 miles per day on average.

Today is day 22 of my one million steps challenge so 70 more days to go after today. so far i've accumilated just over 250,000 steps and just under 110 miles so I am making good progress. Even with having a few slightly lower days dealing with some car trouble.
