In Germany, sweet pretzels are not common; we mostly have them for specific holidays. They are delicious, though.
What would you like to try first?

I would suggest schnitzel, käsespätzle, and beet soup.
Come over one of these days, I will make something for you.

Is it a rule? Italian food is not the law around here, is it?
Japanese food is good, light, fresh. I like to eat it every now and then, for a change.

Sorella, how about Schnitzel? Have you ever tried that? Or perhaps a Wurst! We have several types, but perhaps the most popular one in America as a Frank sausage. I’m sure you’re familiar with pretzels, you can thank us for that one.

Thank us for the Haribo gummies.

As for sauerkraut… that’s just fermented cabbage! Delicious to put on the side of our meals. Good for digestion, and overall gut health.

Terrible… but if that’s your decision…

I have so many! Many great breads, sausages, fermented vegetables (sauerkraut, green beans, gherkins), kefir, and a delicious assortment of candy (mostly gummies) and many different flavored chocolates.

She’s learning from her grandfather. Good!

And why is that? What makes you like them more than German cuisine?

You can disagree. We don’t have to like the same things.
