I urged the Minister to consider issuing guidance to support councils in using Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) for active travel projects, sadly the Minister declined to comment.
It was the last full council today for this 4 year term and here are some of us in the chamber.
I wish all those councillors who have decided not to stand again all the best for the future, and good luck to all those that are attempting to give it another go 😊

I popped into the Repair Cafe today in Thame which operates every month at the Scout Hut - and there’s cake 🍰

Rumsey’s in Thame appeared on BBC South recently about the soaring costs of chocolate and how tough it is for their business at the moment.
Rumsey’s is such a great asset to Thame High Street so please support them is you can - the chocolate is pretty good too 🍫

I know Cllr Champken-Woods supports this project and he has been massively let down by his party.” (Thame is a two-member division, one currently Con, one LD.)

💰It’s budget day tomorrow and funding has been allocated to progress with the Haddenham and Thame Greenway 💰
😞 Sadly the Conservative alternative budget have removed it - I will not be voting for the alternative budget & hope to bring good news tomorrow 🤞🤞
January has been another busy month in parliament and in the constituency.
The post-Christmas cobwebs have been swept away and we’re back to working hard for local residents!
