When I think of EDH I don't think of neat interactions, close games, flashy plays... I think of the iconic "do you pay the 1" line being told to me 5 time a turn! That's where the REAL fun begins!

That’s the turn your deck can win and not the turn a game ends. CEDH decks CAN win on turn 1 the amount of games that end on turn 1 is very low

no. back in 2014-2016 the internet was still around and I would be surprised if you found a lot of people complaining that new sets were too weak. because standard was a thing people played. Nobody ever wanted a new set to upend every eternal format
