Been reading Plus-Sized Elf recently and I just saw the juxtaposition from manga to anime and it's hilarious to me. Someone clearly saw her and said "maybe she should actually plus-sized and not just someone who ate a muffin once in their life."
I'm more confused as to why it's just a commonly accepted ship at this point, to the point that it may as well be canon. Out of the characters she has had actual time with and implications of interest in like Knuckles or Shadow, everyone opts for Tails and no one goes "Wait...this is wrong somehow"

Every incarnation of Alice is always some weird amalgamation of both books in that it's either Adventures in Wonderland with a few elements of Through the Looking-Glass or vice versa, but never fully one or the other or just straight up both and I find that odd.
I was today-years-old when I learned that this guy was a real thing and was the equivalent of making an 'Imitation Crab' character.
I should state that I don't mind made up moves; characters like Fox or Captain Falcon who kinda need them to even exist outside of their vehicle I understand, but not when it's a character that has a very long history of known moves to pull from.
Ganondorf is just the fully epitomized problem with Smash's movesets. I can't think of a single character that doesn't have something in their kit that isn't completely made up or at the very least is executed in a way that is entirely different from how it actually functions in their game.
