Concise, cogent, and with precise clarity our current body politic gets a bright light shown on it, in the context of lots of historical examples where nations fell into tyranny and authoritarianism!

I agree with you (I always do,) but in this case, the word euthanize dehumanizes people. Let's call it what it is… He was suggesting that unhoused people be MURD3R3D -- and that it be sanctioned by our government.

I've got years more of being pissed off. I tell my 30yo sons how big products used to be. They just look at me and mutter "boomer."
It's true though. We've created a society where profits go above people, and it sucks.

I'm right there with you, buddy about the corporate greed and how they can F-off! My point is the tariffs are causing the prices of ALL products to rise. We can't just stop buying all products because the prices are going up. That won't stop anything. The solution is getting rid of the tariffs.

There is a long-standing "standard," that past presidents don't get too involved in future pres activity ... to avoid stepping on toes.
HOWEVER, we also have a standard of assuming a president and their admin is above board & will behave in a normal fashion. That's certainly not true in this case!

So, are we supposed to boycott every company who raises their prices due to the tariffs? It is interesting to see where we all draw lines, and how we (as consumers) fight back.

No. Just the ones that are 25 to 55 years old, wearing camo and masks in public, without ID, driving around in unmarked trucks.
