Possibly, I watched it a while back and I remember there were some pretty silly episodes.
This film about a chosen boy who uses the Force to stop a war between trolls and elves over some magic rings might seem a little similar to some other movies. Our review of Max Magician and the Legend of the Rings is now public, please share!

At this point I'm convinced the academy isn't actually on earth and they live on the sun.
I'd love to see what is happening in a scene but I guess that's not "cinematic" now.
TNG or poor lighting everywhere there is nothing else!

It's great to stylize your show so it looks like everything was just shot ineptly.
Why is Starfleet Academy so ugly? I'm sick of backlighting, lens flares and yellow tinting from deviled egg hell.
Years before Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire co-starred with Mickey Rooney in a bonkers Roger Corman movie, where the Red Baron comes back as a doll and swears revenge! It's a "family adventure" that clearly isn't, and I edited @allisonpregler.bsky.social and @phelous.bsky.social talking about it!
Watching The Master of Disguise 2.6 Times is a better use of 3 Hours 28 Minutes than watching To Boldly Flee.
The obvious apparently needs to be stated a lot these days.
To whoever out there that really needs to hear this:
To Boldly Flee sucks.
Who needs Sailor Moon and her Spiral Heart Moon Rod when you can have the generic rip off, MAGIC WAND!?

It was a good show for a bit. I thought Season 1 was especially solid but this last Season was quite sloppy.
"I'm not expecting an attack so all you monsters take a 2 week vacation!"
Guess Vecna was too busy being a dad to spy on the heroes anymore.
"I must only look through Will's eyes to see the obvious! I don't want to intrude on their meetings where they spell things out with toys for the audience."
I was very baffled that they were all apparently free to go after that.
They didn't need bullies again either. That scene didn't really amount to anything.
Yeah way to much let's stop and over explain but do it like we are babies.
Vecna couldn't even afford any minions to guard his stupid spider on his home planet. Real rinky dink operation.
It was very funny too the scene where they are hiding from the Demodogs yet they have Kate Bush playing still and they somehow don't hear that. Then are distracted by a noise from the washer.
What happened to the bats that killed Eddie too? Stupid Vecna not pay them to return this season?
It was also insane that the military just shrugged and left at the end despite all the battles the main characters had with them. "Well if we can't have super girl I guess we don't care about anything, BYE!"
I'm glad Wheeler dad made it though cause everyone just cared so much that he pulled through.
Was kinda thinking about IT a bit too with the final Vecna fight. What was the worst part of IT? When the creepy clown turns into a stupid giant spider. Not to Vecna though...
Really the horror element of the show was pretty much not present in season 5. And then they go to Vecna's realm and you'd think oh that's gonna be even worse than the upside down.... Nah! It's just a lot of rocks with a never ending sunset.
One of the things that really bothered me with Stranger Things Season 5 was the upside down feeling too safe. People were just hanging out in it all the time and no creatures would show up. Hell the one time they did near the beginning they seemed surprised.
