If you like this sort of almost pastel color scheming have you ever seen the game Paladin's Quest for SNES? it had some unique, exotic colors and architecture. really fun.

I notice imo the raccoon illustrations feel like your strongest, most well realized stuff. And I see that it requires a few pages of scrolling down to see that it is there. Should that go higher? Thanks!

I guess what are you aiming for? It feels like a blast. The first part works for me. But then it goes into balls which feels odd. maybe a bunch up of energy to start, blast, and narrow the beam as you lose energy. I'd say have a recoil or unflex but laser type things don't do that. I dunno.

stage 2 was where it got real cute not gonna lie. 😀

@mksidev.bsky.social is working diligently on Idle Beast Hunter 2, an idle rpg avoiding predatory monetization, for mobile and I've helped him with some pixel art to fill in along with the other pixel assets he's using. Here are some WIP shots of the game.

I suppose it depends what you are into and what you want to use it for. I do a lot of icon stuff which is probably not a terrible place to start. small scale and doesn't require animation. pixeljoint's forum also has a few pinned beginner help pages that could be useful.

I was a bit slow bringing my Pixel Helm Pack 1 over to the Unity Store, but it's now gotten through review and is available there as well. assetstore.unity.com/packages/2d/...
