It was really fun drafting my own pattern for a stuffed animal, I've never done that before

Now the hard part is waiting for the recipient's bday so I can give it to them! I always want to give gifts as soon as they're ready, I get so excited. 😁

Left is the first prototype, right is the second. I'm pretty happy with the new shape, some minor tweaks and I can make it in the final fabric.

okay actually I think the problem was trying to use Firebase when my data is pretty relational so I gotta figure out an SQL solution

I've been using React for a week now and I've pretty much figured out all the frontend stuff I need to do

today I started trying to figure out database stuff and my brain is goop again

I have now done the setup for making a React app 10 separate times while trying to find a good tutorial so it's p much nbd anymore

it's such a bother to have finite time and energy when the best ways to get me fired up are Huge Idealistic Projects and Learning New Skills

I thought my HTML+CSS knowledge would've prepared me somewhat for figuring out how to make a React app, but doing so much setup in Command Prompt is making me miss the unbuild-an-fps setup of Unreal projects.

ooh, qwop mechanics are hard to categorize! like, is it still "through" an avatar if you move their limbs, or is it "direct" because you're interfacing directly with the limbs 🤔

that's interesting as a mechanic evolution! I don't think it's technically "direct" though if you're shooting them as an avatar.

Direct means you are messing with objects directly (such as cards) to affect them. If the avatar is holding the gun, it's not direct!
