Sometimes life is annoying but then I remember showing Amy Hempel this tweet after workshop once and both of us laughing.

The 7 person orgy in a hotel room while a child sits in a soundproof box designed to look like a spaceship episode of Nathan For You should be sent into space as a communication from earth to the aliens.
Working (only in my mind) on an essay called “I Gave Up Academia to Find My Wild Side and Never Looked Back”
I know I need to produce some shareable work soon but I’m so much happier writing without the pressure to publish
I wish I could hang out with my mom at this age
writing has been really fun these days because, for what I'm working on, I need to basically induce insanity.
this is such as great idea! cool way to keep a record
I genuinely do not understand why we should care at all about the US national debt
Not a mother, not a career woman, but a secret third thing
I too remember discovering indie alternative and it all seemed so new and fresh compared to everything else. Really a great and too brief time in ones life

Today I saw the guy in the car behind me clearly mouth the words “What would Joan Didion do? Who the fuck is Joan Didion?”
(I have a what would Joan Didion do bumper sticker)
“Don’t let anyone stand between you and your dreams” well my dream is to be a modern Diogenes so actually I need a wall of people to stand firmly between me and my dream
first glass of wine in 3 months and I’m trippin…righteous gemstones dialogue sounds like it was written by AI
Now that I will soon be employed I want one of those crazy new manicures
Help! I'm in a book slump! ISO: a fun experimental jaunt; a thick winter classic; a writer I've never heard of with a great debut. Small presses preferred!
Trying to pick my Bluesky persona
How much do you think is “buy happiness” money but not “mo problems” money?
artist/writers 🤝 experimental lit pubs

I was saving this for December, but maybe starting it during the first snowfall is just as acceptable
