Mastodon snags Bluesky’s starter packs feature and includes the ability to opt out Starter Packs, but for Mastodon.

FediForum got a mention today in a piece on Mastodon Starter Packs in The Verge. Mastodon starter packs are coming, and were discussed at #FediForum today.

Meanwhile, over in ATProto land, we are seeing BlackSky splitting off more formally from BlueSky's AppView and becoming a full-fledged ATProto instance. Will decentralization through splitting work for them? And will there be a @bsky.brid.gy for BlackSky?

The iOS 26 security update fixed the issue!

Anyone doing something that is against the current US Administration should not be relying on Threads.com to keep their account active. This is a prime example of why the ActivityPub ecosystem exists.

well this is fun. The iPhone dialer isn't working on my iPhone 15 Pro 5G. There seems to be a bug fix update that needs to be done. Hopefully this fixes it.
