Since moving to the Midwest, I since learned that canned Boiled peanuts is Real?! Okay I didn't buy it.. I was scared.. but maybe next time.

There was so much smoke coming from Canada that we ended up driving all the way to very end of Wa State and found this beautiful beach that we played on.

Good for you! I think a lot of people have complicated relationships with their dream careers that they had to likely fight for. Cause in order to be 'good enough,' a lot of people can end up hurting themselves in the grind and burning out.
I'm sure people coming to America has to have gone down though. Sure of course someone is gonna do it out there, but it can't be the normal levels?
rereading this it sounds like they specifically had some issue with you. Which is hard to imagine cause I only ever see you being really nice and supportive. Maybe that was why, something about that triggered something in them.?
That one job that didn't allow people to talk sounds so micromanaged. I had worked at a factory some years back that was like that. Which people talked anyways cause that's just silly.
Yeah this industry sounds hella tough and difficult. It's a shame it has to be like this when people just want to make art and have an impact in some way.
I totally get moving towards just accepting a simpler existence. That has definitely been where I have been going as well.
So sorry to hear about this situation. I hope you get back on your feet soon.
