I'm a natural labour voter now although I have voted libdem a few times, particularly in LEs.
I was brought up in a very capitalist tory family and I voted for them back in the day before I became more politically aware.

It's that tactical thing isn't it.

But I will take a moral stance against this local green, he is incredibly misogynistic and I seriously suspect he's very phobic of every kind - despite what they say nationally.

Basically he's an arse and I'm not voting for him.

I'm all for voting for the greater good and tactical voting on occasion (albeit with caution), but I will not ever give my vote to this specific local Greens man - he's a really nasty piece of work despite what message is given out nationally he's got a whole heap of phobic of every kind baggage.

There's something about him that gives me a bit of ick and I don't know what it is.

However, my dilemma where I live will always be the green councillor (and wannabe city councillor and mp) is an awful misogynistic man and I cannot and will not vote for him.

Realistically, it's a mid term so there's always going to be a protest vote but taking nothing away from Greens they've done very well.

Arresting him gives them the paperwork to search properties, sieze devices and bring NCA into play, they in turn can ask for documents etc. from other agencies in other countries. It also means they are interviewing him under caution.

This is definitely the easier to prove option and whilst we would all want to see him and others taken down on the sex crimes, I think we can accept a major investigation on a very serious crime - which is what this is.
