It was really fun to run this activity - it led to some really suprising discussions about what it means to be human, and the surprising importance of the word poop!

Great family day at the @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social Festival of AI! Children tried a mini turing test, choosing one word to prove they are human. Of course skibidi appeared! We also built a simple image recognition AI, which detected drawings of cats and (sometimes) dogs. @kingsnmes.bsky.social

Come and join me at The Ri for a fun journey through the history of science, and meet some amazing scientists you maybe don't know about!
I'll also be signing books after the event (which feels like a WILD sentence to write π€£).
Celebrate World Environment Day with me and some fab author friends! Book your class in for this FREE online event; I'll be introducing you to some of the amazing scientists you can meet in my new book 'The Hidden Heroes of Science'.

So excited to receive this grant, and be able to support running our Girl's Robotics Challenge for another year! I was blown away by the amazing robots the teams built this year and the creative problem solving on display.
Cant wait to see what our 2025/6 cohort of students achieve!
I have never felt older than this afternoon, when I had to explain to a university student how blue tack works π
