Wow I haven't posted on here in like a month 😂 But hi, hello! I'm still alive!

Hi! I'm Devon. I write YA and Adult in sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller.

My current goal is to finish my next project by the end of the year!

The last few days I have taken so many notes for my fantasy project. It's been so much work but I am SO happy that I'm getting back to writing and world building and outlining again.

Does anyone else just love the way words look on the page? I frequently pull books off my shelves just to flip through the pages and admire the ebb and flow of sentences and em dashes and the structure of a completed novel. 💜

Its been ages since I've worked on anything new, BUT tonight I took 8 pages of notes on my newest project and I'm so excited progress is finally being made 😭

*not me trying to remember how to turn a concept and a couple of scenes into a full-length novel*

The last few times NaNo came around, I told myself I'd do it and never did, but this time I'M DOING IT and refuse to let myself down!!

Reaching that point in my life where I'm really sick of talking to people about my personal life because it just opens the door for assumptions and judgement. 🙄

I am trying very hard to set a boundary with someone and they're not listening and it is AGGRAVATING 😭

It was an incredibly productive day for me, so I'm treating myself to a bubble bath and research for my new project. 💜
