Trump vs. US was the final straw imo. You cannot read that ruling and continue believing they have legitimacy. It is not only against the plain text of the constitution, it is anathema to the national ethos. It is offensively, insultingly un-American and they ceded legitimacy by committing that sin.

She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.

I don't understand why I see things so differently. I see a health insurance industry that thinks it's entitled to charge people 1/3rd of their income for healthcare. That industry shouldn't be "fixed." It should be burned to the ground and its ashes pissed on.

Initially and for several weeks, I found ChatGPT5 an improvement over ChatGPT4o. However, more recently, like our nation, it appears to me that ChatGPT5 is going backwards. Maybe it is learning how to make mistakes and repeat those mistakes from its various programming applications. #BadAI

If it's not possible to know with certainty that an example disproves a hypothesis, then it's not a scientific hypothesis.

"good faith" is a fundamental cannon of Common Law. Trump has never ever acted in "good faith". If a Judge or Justice were strident enough about this, we would never be in this mess in the first place.

Simple, it isn't.

The US is a semi-authoritarian state. Folks need to grasp that it's not all or nothing -- authoritarianism has a sliding scale. Different states repress in different ways; some are harder on commerce than on speech or vice versa. Pundits deny the complexity in order to dismiss real, growing threats.

I fully believe that Donald Trump is more faithful to the ideas in Mein Kampf than he is to the King James Version of the Bible.

I don't, for a minute, trust that he is true to any faith, or believes in God at all.

You must not get out much, or live in an enclave.

I am in ultra-Blue Massachusetts.

But, I speak to people, even MAGA sometimes.

Take a trip to Western Maryland, where I used to live, or to West Virginia, or pretty much anywhere other than an enclave.

I speak weekly to MAGA in Texas.
