Since we’re not making the selection until next weekend, we’re extending the deadline for ParaVox #1: PALESTINE until Friday, Feb 20!

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

Ok, nu börjar begreppet förlora sin mening. Men det viktiga är att av de här filmerna så är det bara 2 eller 3 som jag inte tyckte var särskilt bra, och av dem bara en jag direkt ogillade. Och åtminstone en handfull som är riktigt bra (särskilt en, eller kanske tre).

Det har blivit mycket kammarspel på sistone: Everly, Why Don’t You Just Die?, The Man From Earth, Pontypool… Räknas Bugonia också? Inte riktigt, men nästan. Också nästan: Tone-Deaf, The Lie Chair, The Belko Experiment, The Fifth Seal, High-Rise, After Midnight. Och ännu mer nästan: Green Room…

Just watched it. Lovely film in a way I find it hard to define… Right after it finished I started it from the beginning again (while writing this and reading what others thought about it), but I also need to probably sleep a little so now I’m not sure what I’m doing :)

It has to be ok to share important information even if you can't afford to pay for a newsletter. I get that you need money, but if it seems like you only care about these things to make profit, that'd make you a less reliable source because then you'd just write what you think people will pay for.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

CBA vol 69 is coming! It’ll be out this Friday, with me and Kinga Dukaj as main co-editors! As you may guess from the numbering, this one is about SEX.

The release, with an exhibition, will be at Rum för Serier (Friisgatan 12, Malmö) this Friday, Oct 31 between 17–21. Hope to see you there!
