November is Native American Heritage Month!

This month, we recognize the rich culture and history of Minnesota’s indigenous peoples, pay tribute to the original stewards of our lands and honor their contributions to our state’s heritage.

I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Highway 13 Trail in Prior Lake on Friday – which I was proud to have secured $1M in federal funding for. 

This trail will not only increase Minnesotans’ access to the outdoors, but it will also increase foot traffic to local businesses.

On Tuesday, masked ICE agents with guns drawn arrested Adan Nunez Gonzalez in Northfield. They failed to inform local law enforcement of their presence in the city and refused to identify themselves or provide an arrest warrant.
