The Garfield Movie

I remember I was so excited to see this, even in spite of Chris Pratt, but ugh…It was so heartless and corporate. Genuinely so little happened. Disappointed.

Hunger

A movie about fine dining, classism, and what it means to be truly satisfied. There were some great unsettling moments in the film that I enjoyed. The A and B plots felt natural. Good watch.

Beastars

Binged the available anime and was reminded of why I loved the manga. Still, I was also reminded of the bloat of themes added to the series as it continued. I’m still excited to see the new season, but mostly to see if it will satisfy me more.

K-Pop Demon Hunters

Gorgeous film that had excellent pacing. At the same time, there were many interesting and unexplored things that I would love to see more of in a sequel. The world just has so much potential!
