Preview for tonight’s show. Tonight at about 1:30-2:30am CDT there will be a lunar eclipse with the moon turning reddish (aka a blood moon) for that period of time. Hoping to get some shots to show you. Wish me luck!

This is NGC 2175 Monkey Head Nebula, 6350 light years away from Earth.
The one on the left I processed on my phone. The one on the right with a piece of software that I invested in. I'd say it is paying off! Very pleased!
Still enjoying this whole astrophotography thing now that I can post-process the photos. Space is amazing!
NGC 2244 open cluster at the center of the Rosette nebula.
Wikipedia says “The age of this cluster has been estimated to be less than 5 million years" 😳
