Most of the bike lanes in my neighborhood are death traps for cyclists.

This law is forcing cities to deal with the fact that their bike infrastructure is poorly planned and implemented. Can't point to all the bike lanes you have on paper and say you support active transportation when the reality in most of the valley is they are just painted lines cars park on.

One of the most fucked up stories I've ever read. Blaming the parents for allowing their kid to go to the grocery store instead of the 76 year old elderly driver in a fucking SUV who hit them.

This is the GOP America.

Love it. Progress is progress and should be celebrated.

The stadium was bustling with energy. A grand slam in the first inning was fun to see. It was a great night and I am very glad to have the Bee's in the neighborhood. Hopefully they can add more bike racks or even a bike valet to make it easier to get there on foot or by bike.

The food was a disappointment. We got a Little Caesars pizza, pretzel, chicken fingers, fries, and churros. None of it tasted good and all seemed stale already. We used a self checkout register that did not work well. Hopefully things can improve in this area.

Getting in went smooth. We had tickets for the lawn and were able to grab a spot against the back wall. It was packed but not too crowded.

The plaza at center field was great. This is going to be an amazing amenity for the neighborhood.

The next issue which I had been worried about was finding a place to lock up the scooters. There are only two bike racks for the whole stadium! They were already packed and bikes were locked up on just about every tree or post in the area.

Getting there was a breeze using neighborhood streets and multi-use paths. Closer to the stadium in the construction zone we ran into one side street with no curb cuts so we had to hop off the scooters there.

Tonight was opening night at the new Bee's stadium in Daybreak. I was excited to take the family to the game. We rode our scooters to the game.

Utah banned fluoridated water:
water with 0.7 grams of fluoride for every 1,000,000 grams of water.

The claim? It’s harmful.
The reality? It isn’t ⬇️

An adult would need to consume 357 LITERS of that water A DAY to have a possible risk of adverse effects from fluoride.

Got my tickets for opening night!

Really highlights the need for access to open space on the west side.

Rachel Zegler and Alfred E. Neuman was great in Snow White.

I get the point but am not a fan of conflating impacts of EVs to gas guzzlers, they are separate issues. Reducing emissions by moving from gas to electrical vehicles is good. Reducing our dependency on all types of cars to get around is also good. Doing both is even better.

Man driving car — not a plane — arrested after being clocked at 142 mph A Utah man was booked into jail Tuesday after a South Jordan police officer reported clocking him traveling 142 mph on the Mountain View Corridor.

Absolutely horrifying but not surprising. Mountain View is an incredibly dangerous road.
