Police responded to a call reporting a possible violent incident involving a gun today at the library. It was later determined to be swatting. Once common, especially in schools pre-Covid, police said this is the first swatting incident in the community in recent months. nixle.us/GLATP?_ga=2....
@carolynjoneswriter.bsky.social It was also nice for longtime staff to revisit the crazy days following Superstorm Sandy, when we were one of the few places in town with power. What a week!
Thanks to @carolynjoneswriter.bsky.social for highlighting the emergency preparedness materials in our Library of Things.

So do we. ♥️
We could not agree more!
Take this past Sunday: Our 1st floor had dozens of people reading in comfortable chairs and others working together on jigsaws or played chess at our games table while our second floor quiet workspaces were filled to capacity and our kids/teens area was off-the-charts busy.
We also will be hosting Nick Bruel for a Bad Kitty Birthday Bash for kids (and those who are kids at heart) to celebrate Bad Kitty's 20th birthday! It is going to be open to all and include crafts, cake and more! princetonlibrary.libnet.info/event/12298646
