I went to my old high school to donate old clothes to the theater department and the receptionist called me a "parent". I might've aged a bit on the inside.

Watching season 4 of Evil for spooky season. I like the little intro messages.

I guess the plus to this is cat volunteers that keep any remaining bugs away while i clean up these places.

All this on top of the general cleaning and maintenance you're supposed to be doing. Let's not forget you need to eat and clean clothes too. I would make a terrible 50s housewife. I'd probably kill someone if i had to do this full time no pay for years.

And dont get me started on the bugs. You put out the traps and they go away. Then you start cleaning new places and find bug party spots, bug murder scenes, bug toilets. How much fun can one person have?

Cleaning is terrible. Dust is the enemy. Ignore it enough and it becomes a film that doesnt wipe off. Then you have either a fine powder to choke on or hairy sticky mystery stuff to clean off.

My current joy is the end of the day when im not obligated to clean something.

The horror is i wake up the next day to more unfinished tasks.

Being the only able bodied person to clean/clear debris in the entire house is a terrible thing. A bright spot is I found a bag of clothes i didn't know were missing from 20 years ago and they still fit. 👍

It's tiring when you're too similar to parent and you both talk in circles then you get blamed for talking in circles. Listen, i know you're old. I'm TRYING to COMMUNICATE. If i do what i think you said and not what you actually said then I'm gonna hear about it for the rest of your life probably.

Funny enough, now it's once i see an actual positive change i lose the ambition to finish. I'm halfway through my list to clean the kitchen and the cleaned bits are great! What's left leaves me thinking i should just move onto worse areas of the house instead.

Being mildly interested in genealogy i googled my grandparents and found a site that keeps records of graves. I was able to trace back to immigrants on one parents side. There were pictures and newspaper clippings. It was like being my own detective.

Rest up! Get some ginger tea in you to help with clearing the sickness.

The trees are taking my stress and keeping me home.

I'm kind of at the point where panic cleaning is normal because family is coming next month and doing nothing because i waited too long to do something.

I managed to jump a car all by myself! I've done it with assistance before, but i was all alone this time and got it to do the thing!
