Demoralized can't even begin to describe how I'm feeling.

Its so hard to understand the scope and scale of the Federal attack on Chicago, led by ICE and CBP.

I put this map and table together, highlighting the most significant incidents from 9/19-10/25. The area shown is roughly 30 by 35 miles with incidents in all corners.

Officially done with my time at Burnt City Brewing and the District Brew Yards.

Bitter but on to the next thing I guess.

Given the world, who the fuck knows what "the next thing" is gonna be.

The Federal government has attacked Chicago but Chicagoans are doing a great job documenting what is happening. However, I do not feel that there is a solid timeline of key events forming, and so I put one together

As far as I'm concerned, Bluesky is like that episode of South Park where they burn down Walmart and go to TruValue and then they burn that down too because the wrong lesson was learned.

I am begging people go find the movie Punishment Park (1971) and realize that the US has been on this road for a long time because we never yanked the wheel hard enough.

Just saying, Mastodon and the Fediverse are right there. And not subject to the whims of VCs.
