JORDAN FUCKING SCOTT
Hello Raymar Morgan and Goran Suton... 👀
Cam Ward's readiness this year and his impact as a freshman has me thinking about another Spartan named Ward and his frosh year too... Not the exact same archetypes by any means, but damn both came into their MSU careers ACTIVE and ready to contribute
#TheWardToMSUPipeline
Says a lot as a team when you can respond to an opponent's 8-0 run with a 13-0 counterpunch of your own
Composed. Disciplined. Together. This team's vibes are just something else. And considering this is coming off quite a special 24-25 campaign...
The Jeremy Fears Jr era.
There were people not too long ago, including big accounts, talking about options for Izzo's replacement. Lots of talk about Oats... Valentine...
I thought it was ridiculous at the time and I still chuckle knowing the people used their precious time and energy talking about stupid ass shit
Near perfect minutes from Jesse McCulloch here
"I don't care if I last ten more years or ten more days. Nobody, in the country, will ever have what we have" -Tom Izzo

"I'm going to do what I gotta do, but I also don’t give up on the people I got, and that’s what we call development, and that’s what you call working with players, and you stick with them, and they stick with you.” -Tom Izzo
Culture still matters. Getting OKGs still matters. Tom Izzo doing things his way still matters.
I feel like we need that reminder in the age of NIL. Izzo isn't one to forget his roots and abandon what's gotten him to the heights he's reached.
He develops leaders. He develops greatness.
Izzo: "Their loyalty to me has gotta be my loyalty to them. And loyalty still frickin' matters."
Ethan Taylor's final six schools were Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Michigan State and he had this to say: "It was an easy choice"
I love this guy already
There's something to be said about Cam Ward's ability to find open space and create passing lanes with his positioning. Last night he put on a masterclass. Was very rarely in the wrong place or failing to move to open areas of the floor. High basketball IQ
I can't think of a bigger privilege in college basketball than being able to root for this man and this program. A coach unlike any other. A culture unlike any other
Cherish every moment. Go green
taking a moment to appreciate MSU basketball being back...
mannnnn I fucking missed you
would like to know the biggest Moneyball overreaction you've ever heard
"I think it should be controversial to NOT say anything" about Gaza
I spoke to YouTube star and children's educator Ms. Rachel about her outspoken support for Palestinian kids in Gaza - and the bad-faith attacks on her in response.

Jay Bilas needs more NBA games
LA folks! On May 10 I’m moderating a panel after a screening of PAVEMENTS with Alex Ross Perry, Spiral Stairs, Tim Heidecker and Jason Schwartzman.

Cade Cunningham in the locker room postgame: "We're hungry, man. We gave both games away at the crib. Our fans did a great job of coming out, giving us a lot of energy. We dropped both of those games. We're all excited to be able to get back home."

Well fuck
If you’re trying to get any little scrap of news or hope regarding Darius Adams, here ya go…
McDonald’s all American. Went to La Lumiere. And MSU went after him hard and finished second to UCONN when he originally committed. Visited EL in September…
Darius Adams de committed from UCONN…
The additions of Kaleb Glenn and Trey Fort give me some Elijah Martin vibes and I’m really starting to like the archetype Izzo is building with this roster
-he’s shown on every level he can get a bucket and provide for the teams he plays for. An incredible asset to have for a team that’s losing a good amount of scoring and playmaking options
All in all, I like the get. Fort, along with Glenn, Carr, Fears, incoming frosh Cam Ward, McCulloch (at least from what I heard during his RS campaign) fits that physical tough identity MSU can run full steam with. @itsmjg.bsky.social mentioned it feels like a mini Houston, which is a good comp
-he’s old. In a good way. Has played his fair share of college ball. Experience still matters in this game
-finds space incredibly well, especially in the halfcourt. Will look to slip and make cuts towards the rim all across the floor
-is patient in the halfcourt when things don’t play out, stable
