Yes I had a similar experience while searching. Most active places with the 18+ tag lean heavy into nsfw too which isn’t my cup of tea personally lol
Just enough to keep it respectable, chill, and on topic. Maybe an nsfw art tab at the worst since it’s kind of hard to avoid that with GL content lol. But it stays in there.

That is one gripe I had with both versions of the manga. So much of those inner thoughts get cut out some really important moments aren't expanded on. I've seen a lot of manga readers frustrated with Shimamura because she is missing a lot of her characterization from the LN
