Its ALWAYS impressive to me to see so many people teach themselves how to use gamedev tools like game engines and modeling software, animating, shaders, texturing, but then you add on story writing, world building/design, music, etc. The list goes on forever.

Im testing with a different shader for "static environment" vs "interactive environment"

I think its just enough to discern the difference. A little outline, some "cel shading" as opposed to regular shading, and a little rim lighting.

It was never about Hayao Miyazakis specific art style. I would assume he loves seeing PEOPLE draw things in his style.

What he doesn’t like, is if it’s not human art, and also if someone is just trying to make money or clout.

It’s about the human soul.

When you're running so fast you start leaning to far forward or sideways. Little procedural stuff like this is what gives me the "Ghibli" in my game.

I always noticed things like when characters run too fast or trip a little, and I think Miyazaki would like this.
