I think part of what annoys me about this rhetoric is how there's no equivalent terms for white men, and their participation yesterday was far more notable because it's harder to mobilize them. But "beer dads and Pop-Pops" just doesn't have that dismissive tone, I guess

This is scary as hell but it is great that almost every ICE video I'm seeing this weekend is an entire crowd of people surrounding them and making their lives miserable while they go about their daily kidnapping.

So I used to live where this guy does. And for context, this is Lincoln Square / Albany Park. This isn't Logan Square hipsters or Rogers Park activists. This is a neighborhood that just had Apple Fest. These are moms and dads coming out and saying fuck ICE.
